Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in India seeks a field sales professional to drive RW sales by building relationships with specifiers, contractors and distributors in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. You will participate in seminars, exhibitions and contractor trainings to promote the product and explain its benefits on-site.

Role focuses on identifying projects, expanding distributor reach, and meeting sales budgets while maintaining company guidelines. Travel to regional sites and customer locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in regional sales targeting specifiers, contractors and distributors.
• Willingness to travel within Karnataka & Tamil Nadu region and expand distributor base.

To generate RW sales through developing and maintaining relationships with specifiers, contractors and distributors in Karnataka & Tamil Nadu region Exploit all sales opportunities within regional area, expand distributors base in untapped areas, meet direct customers, architects, consultants, demo the product, meet site people to explain them quality.

• Influence & Support the sales by organizing /participating in technical seminars, exhibitions and presentations, organise contractors training program.

Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to :

• Customer base – Develop customer base with focus on Project stakeholders Key Accounts, Distributors, contractors, specifiers and in the selected sales segments in line with the area action plan and Company objectives..
• - Market Share - Identify the key projects and exploit all regional opportunities to grow market share while operating within the agreed price and margin goals. Maximize sales and achieve increase within the scope of the role.
• - Sales Budget - Delivery of invoiced sales and volume budget by securing a mix of project/product and volume targets.
• - Sales Administration & Reporting - Provide the Company with any reports required to an agreed standard and frequency. Provide accurate and timely market information.
• - Project Sales - Effectively track and report on an agreed number of projects, ensuring that invoiced sales are maximized from project hopper & specifications. Build the project hopper 3 times the budgeted value to have strong base to deliver future sales growth.
• - Activity Plan - Ensure call plan activities support the achievement of the team / company sales objectives. Use and keep updated the relevant CRM and Projects Files as per company norms.
• - Group Values and professional Conduct - To generate commercial and professional respect, demonstrating high levels of competence in keeping with the Group Values.
• - Complying with Guidelines - Operate within all company guidelines for example (but not limited to) property, data security, confidentiality.
