Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is hiring an Asst Manager- Production focusing on control valve manufacturing at Rudrapur Plant, India. The role emphasizes QA, PFMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, CAPA, and CAPEX budgeting to uplift PQCDS while supporting productionisation of new products and CRE initiatives.

You will drive productivity improvements, lean manufacturing, and TPM programs, oversee process planning, and ensure QMS, PPAP, and SOP adherence within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years in Manufacturing out of which 3 to 4 years in Process Engg. / Mfg. Engg. would be preferred
• Quality assurance role with PFMEA, SPC and CAPA responsibilities
• Experience in lean manufacturing, TPM, QC systems and PPAP processes

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance (QA) oversight in production processes
• Apply PFMEA, SPC, CAPA and QMS to ensure process quality
• Plan and implement process changes and CRE for product engineering
• Budgeting for Capex and efficiency projects to improve PQCDS
• Drive productivity, capacity enhancement and lean improvements
• Lead TPM initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Ensure adherence to TQM and PPAP requirements
• Develop process maps, control plans and SOPs for quality management

Quality assurance - build Quality in processes through PFMEA, Mistake proofing, SPC, CAPA, etc for FTR, ETR and DCE Resolution of critical and chronic Quality issues.
Process planning for changes in existing products (including CRE) and support productionisation of new products.
Capex budgeting to improve PQCDS by replacement /addition of equipment with appropriate technology Monitor and control implementation of planned Capex from need justification till commissioning of equipment and MOP achievement.
Productivity improvement - Manpower optimisation and capacity enhancement.
Lean manufacturing Lead time reduction, VAR improvement. implementation of TPM initiatives. Innovations, Continuous improvement, Problem solving. TQM - Ensure adherence and improvement in Quality systems - PPAP,
Process Mapping and Process flow, control Plan, SOP, etc. Cost saving through improvement projects
