Job summary
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an Asst. Manager for Quality Assurance to lead audits of tractor assembly, paint shop, and PTCED shop.
You will apply your knowledge of sheet metal and plastics to support process improvements and new product introduction, while resolving issues in engine and transmission assemblies. Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in automobile manufacturing QA, with strong experience in ISO TS 16949, TPM, MSA, and SPC.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years in Automobile Manufacturing in Quality Assurance or manufacturing.
- Experience with ISO TS 16949, TPM and quality systems.
- Experience with sheet metal and plastic components and assembly quality.
Responsibilities
- Audit tractor assembly, paint shop, and PTCED shop for quality.
- Analyze customer complaints and perform corrective actions.
- Support continuous process improvements and new product implementation.
- Handle engine and transmission assembly knowledge in QA functions.
- Standardize quality procedures across assembly and supplier parts.

- As an Asst. Manager in the Quality Assurance department at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, your responsibilities will be crucial in ensuring the quality of tractors through product and process audits of tractor assembly, paint shop, and PTCED shop.
- You will utilize your expertise in sheet metal and plastic components, support continuous process improvements, handle new product and process implementation, and resolve concerns reported in new products. Additionally, you will be responsible for engine and transmission aggregate assembly functional knowledge, customer complaint analysis, and quality assurance functions in the assembly plant.
- You will play a key role in analysing customer complaints, assembly line rejections, supplier parts, and taking corrective actions to standardize all quality procedures.
- Your experience in quality management systems like ISO 9001, TS 16949, and TPM will be valuable in implementing best practices and achieving consistent product quality.
