Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage FOS items, export packaging, and services purchasing aligned with contracts. You will coordinate with Service Contract Cell, GIS, engineering, stores, and accounts to ensure seamless P2P processes.

The role emphasizes SAP MM usage, spend analysis, stock optimization, and adherence to safety and TPM practices within a manufacturing environment in Mumbai. 2–8 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical/Auto/Production Engineering.
• 2-8 years of experience in procurement, store, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of SAP MM and procurement-to-pay processes.
• Exposure to safety, TPM, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of FOS items (Factory operated supplies) following SCC/GIS guidelines.
• Procurement of export frames and packaging materials for export tractor dispatches.
• Services buying related to non-machinery per contracts.
• Understand scope of work from user departments and procure FOS items.

Job description

• Procurement of FOS items (Factory operated supplies) by following proper guidelines set by Service contract cell / GIS team and responsible for Procurement to Pay cycle
• Procurement of Export related Frames and all sorts of Packaging material necessary for Export Tractor Despatches
• Services Buying related to non-machinery and as per the Agreement / Contracts Finalized by Service Contract Cell / GIS Dept
• Understanding scope of work from various user department & procurement of FOS items
• Effective Implementation of Rate contracts as per commercials settled by SCC / GIS
• Ensuring process adherence in Purchasing.
• IT Utilization of Latest Trends in Procurement Practices. Knowledge of SAP, GEP etc
• Coordinate with Service Contract Cell / GIS, Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, Inspection, Accounts & Suppliers.
• Effective Implementation of Synergy Initiatives jointly along with SCC cell / GIS Dept
• Involvement in Digital Initiatives
• Spend Analysis of FOS & Services
• Inventory Management – Monitor & Review Levels. Generation of Min, ROL & Max levels and Monitoring of FOS Stock items
• Monthly MIS preparation for Department KRA’s to be presented to Management by co-ordination amongst team members and other stakeholders
