Job summary

Phenom is seeking a senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in substations to oversee civil works, foundations, and material handling. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and precise execution of engineering plans on site.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5-8 years of relevant experience, and a strong ability to manage resources, equipment, towers and panels in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant Substation experience.
• Knowledge of equipment, towers, panels, etc.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and implement measures to prevent hazards and ensure a secure working environment.
• Reconcile materials, track inventory usage and allocate resources efficiently.
• Oversee storage and handling of materials to prevent damage and delays.
• Supervise civil works of tower foundations, equipment foundations, buildings, transformers foundations, fire walls, roads, drain cable trenches, ensuring precision and compliance with specs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment, towers, panels, etc.
• Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques to site activities, ensuring efficient execution within budget and contract specifications.

3. Oversees storage and handling of materials, ensuring proper conditions and organization to prevent damage and delays.
4. Supervises civil works of Tower foundation, Equipment foundation, Buildings, Transformers foundation, Fire wall, road, drain cable trench etc. Ensuring precision in alignment, stability, and compliance with engineering specifications.
5. Knowledge of Equipment, towers, panels etc.
6. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures to site activities, ensuring efficient execution within budget and contract specifications.

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Substation.
