Job summary

CIEL HR is seeking a Civil Substation Supervisor to supervise and execute all civil works at the substation site, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion.

You will coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, safety and electrical teams, review drawings and BOQ, monitor foundations and structures, manage manpower, and maintain daily progress reports to meet project milestones on the project site in Mumbai. Strong communication with client and consultant during inspections will be essential.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/B.Tec h in Civil Engineering or relevant construction trade.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at substation site.
• Monitor foundation work for equipment, transformers, gantry, control room, and other structures.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate with survey, QA/QC, safety, and electrical teams for smooth execution.
• Check layout, levels, alignment, excavation, PCC, RCC, and finishing works.
• Monitor subcontractor activities and manpower productivity.
• Ensure proper utilization of materials, machinery, and resources at site.
• Maintain daily progress reports and work records.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and permit systems.
• Coordinate with client/consultant during inspections and approvals.
• Resolve site execution issues and report critical matters to management.
• Monitor project progress against schedule and target completion dates.
• Ensure housekeeping and proper site discipline.

Job Summary:

The Civil Substation Supervisor is responsible for supervising and executing all civil works related to substation

construction activities. The role includes monitoring manpower, ensuring quality and safety compliance,

Required Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant construction trade.
• Minimum 510 years experience in substation / transmission / industrial project construction.
• Knowledge of RCC works, equipment foundations, trenches, roads, drainage, and structural works.
• Familiarity with IS codes, construction standards, and QA/QC procedures.
• Ability to read civil drawings and BOQ.
