Carrier in Gurugram is seeking an Asst. Manager/ Application Engineering with 5-8 years of HVAC experience. You will select equipment, prepare technical proposals, and coordinate with sales and production for custom builds while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role is full-time and on-site in Gurugram, India.

Qualifications

• HVAC concepts and airside equipment knowledge required.
• Proficiency in psychrometrics and heat load analysis.
• Familiarity with AHU selection tools and standards.
• Knowledge of Eurovent and AHRI certification.
• Ability to document design specs and drawings clearly.
• Experience translating client requirements into feasible designs.

Responsibilities

• Select equipment based on customer data within deadlines.
• Prepare technical proposals by reviewing blueprints, tenders, and BOQs.
• Support sales with technical answers and coordinate with production on custom builds.
• Generate datasheets and compliance docs per industry codes.

About the role:

5 - 8 years of experience understand HVAC and good knowledge on Airside products like Fan wall units / Air Handling Units / CRAH etc

Job Responsibility

• Equipment Selection: Carry out equipment selections in time bound manner based on customer provided information.
• Technical Proposals: Review customer blueprints, tenders, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to prepare accurate technical proposals.
• Cross-Functional Support: Help sales teams answer client questions and coordinate with production or factory teams on custom builds.
• Compliance & Documentation: Generate data sheets, compliance statements, and material submittals matching industry codes

Requirements

• Understand HVAC and good knowledge on Airside products like Fan wall units / Air Handling Units / CRAH etc.
• Proficiency in psychometrics, heat load analysis, AutoCAD, and AHU selection tools.
• Basic understanding on the Data Centre airside products requirements and applicable standards.
• Knowledge about Eurovent and AHRI certification
• Conduct thermal load calculations, airflow analysis, and capacity assessments to optimize mechanical system performance.
• Maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, as-built drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients, translating business requirements into feasible designs.
