Job summary

The Indus Valley is seeking a Video Editor Associate to craft engaging digital videos from our Chennai head office. You will edit for social media, websites, and ad campaigns, applying strong storytelling and precise pacing across formats.

Collaborate with content writers, designers, and marketing teams, adding effects, transitions, sound design, subtitles, and motion graphics while preserving brand identity. 2–3 years of experience is preferred.

We are looking for a creative Video Editor Associate with 23 years of experience in creating engaging digital and marketing videos that bring our brand stories to life across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Production: Edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos for digital platforms including social media, websites, and ad campaigns.
• Ad & Marketing Videos: Create compelling video creatives for Meta and Google campaigns tailored to different audiences and marketing objectives.
• Content Enhancement: Add effects, transitions, sound design, subtitles, and motion graphics to enhance video quality.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency in tone, pacing, storytelling, messaging, and visual identity across all videos.
• Project Management & Collaboration: Handle multiple video projects, collaborate with content writers, designers, and social media teams, and deliver within deadlines.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing tools.
• Video Editing Fundamentals: Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design, subtitles, and platform-specific video formats.
• Creative & Execution Skills: Creative eye with strong attention to detail and the ability to refine videos based on feedback.
• Experience: Experience in D2C, agency, or digital marketing environments is preferred. Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
