An opportunity to become a part of one of India’s most differentiated consumer investment funds and get hands‑on experience of independently leading portfolio company growth. We are looking for an operator who will manage 2-3 portfolio companies at a time and be responsible for the entire lifecycle of these investments. You will work almost like a co‑founder in the portfolio companies (on behalf of the fund), with heavy hands‑on operational and strategic involvement, being close to the decisions that actually determine how a business scales. In addition, you shall have the opportunity to evaluate investible opportunities and lead transactions end to end. Ideally, the candidate should have the ability to combine the instincts of a builder with the detachment of an operator assessing the business in full.
Research and build‑out of knowledge base and a fund view on sectors of interest,
Sourcing of new opportunities, evaluation of new investment opportunities in our sectors of interest, diligence,
Championing of identified deals through the investment committee, entry, scaling, governance and exit.
Very few roles let one person see all of it, repeatedly, within a few years.
Work directly with management teams and boards and learn how institutional capital gets to work.
Opportunity to get your hands dirty with founders on Go‑to‑market strategies, unit economics, hiring, org design and capital allocation, and carry the outcome of those calls, defining and implementing systems and processes to improve the scalability and value‑add of the portfolio and eventually, the fund.
