Job summary

Embee Software seeks an Associate Technical Consultant-Azure in Delhi to design, implement, manage and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services. You will work hands-on with Azure compute, networking, identity, security, backups, monitoring, automation and Windows/Linux environments.

You will design, deploy and manage Azure infrastructure, AV Desktop environments, AD/Entra ID, RBAC, VNet and ExpressRoute, plus monitoring, security and backup solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID and AD on-prem connectivity.
• Strong RBAC, identity and access management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments and deployments.
• Configure and administer AD and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Implement RBAC, access controls, and security policies.
• Configure Virtual Networks, NSGs, and Route Tables.
• Execute site-to-site and point-to-site VPNs; ExpressRoute.
• Manage load balancing and app delivery services: ALB, App Gateway, Traffic Manager, Front Door.
• Manage Storage accounts, backups, and recovery services.
• Automate tasks with Azure Automation and Update Manager.
• Use Log Analytics and Defender for Cloud for monitoring and security.
• Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and performance issues.
• Prepare technical docs and provide customer support.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Azure Technical Consultant to design, implement, manage, and support Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with Azure compute, networking, identity, security, backup, monitoring, automation, and Windows/Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/WVD) environments and support virtual desktop deployments.
• Configure and administer Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) .
• Implement and manage Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) , user access, permissions, and security policies.
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNet) , subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Route Tables.
• Implement Azure connectivity solutions, including Site-to-Site VPN, Point-to-Site VPN, and ExpressRoute .
• Configure and support Azure traffic distribution and application delivery services, including:
  • Azure Load Balancer
  • Azure Application Gateway
  • Azure Traffic Manager
  • Azure Front Door
• Manage Azure Storage Accounts , including storage configuration, access, and security.
• Configure and maintain Azure Automation Accounts and automate routine operational tasks.
• Implement and manage Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions using:
• Monitor Azure infrastructure and applications using Azure Log Analytics and related monitoring tools.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud to strengthen cloud security and monitor security recommendations.
• Implement and manage Azure Managed Identities for secure access to Azure resources.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems hosted on Azure.
• Manage system updates and patching using Azure Update Manager (Update Management Center) .
• Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, networking, security, identity, backup, and performance‑related issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
• Good knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/WVD) .
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory .
• Strong understanding of Azure RBAC , Managed Identities, and access management.
• Knowledge of Azure networking, including VNet, NSG, Route Tables, VPN, and ExpressRoute .
• Experience with Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, and Azure Front Door.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Storage, Automation, Backup, Snapshots, and Recovery Services Vault.
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring and security tools, including Log Analytics and Microsoft Defender for Cloud .
• Good understanding of Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with Azure Update Manager and patch management.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer‑handling skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate will be preferred.
• Experience working in a customer‑facing technical consulting or cloud support role.
