Job summary

Bunge is seeking an Associate Team Lead for Enterprise Data Management in Mohali, Punjab. You will validate, cleanse, maintain master data and reinforce business rules via SAP MDG.

The role collaborates with global stakeholders across business and IT to ensure data quality for Material, Customer, and Supplier data and to drive cross-regional data initiatives. Experience with SAP MDG/MDM and data governance is required.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional data management experience in Master Data Management processes
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in SAP MDG or SAP MDM
• Experience working directly with business clients and across virtual teams

Responsibilities

Business Title Associate Team Lead - Enterprise Data Management

Global Department Enterprise Data Management (EDM)

Reporting to Functional Lead

Role Purpose Statement Responsible for validation, data cleansing and maintenance, and reinforce use of business rules and standards via SAP MDG.

Accountable for driving accuracy, improvements across all geographic regions and Bunge’s businesses. Has broad responsibility for driving alignment across multiple business functional areas to define & execute project scope and deliverables.

This role is viewed as a Data Custodian – Process expert in the master data management domain for Material, Customer, supplier (any two data types is mandatory). He will be required to collaborate with a multiple Bunge stakeholder spread across the globe from Business, IT and others stakeholder in order to define and achieve a mutually agreed outcome in the master data domains for both ‘Material and Finance’ data.

Main Accountabilities

• Experience in executing and driving Data Quality programs
• Experience with Data Dictionaries and Metadata management.
• Data validation and reinforce Region compliance to business rules and standards
• Data Enrichment, data cleansing and maintenance
• Provide first-level support, training, and communication to Region stakeholders, Data Requestors and Data Approvers

• Technical knowledge of SAP master data tables, fields, SAP MDG
• Knowledge of Data Management processes across all the key data types, business rules and how Master Data affects transactional processing
• Knowledge of Business process and related business process metrics

Education & Experience

Education:

• Mechanical / Electrical Engineer / B.Tech / Certified in SAP Material Management

Experience:

• Minimum 4-5 years of professional data management experience managing Master Data Management processes
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in SAP MDG or SAP MDM
• Experience in working directly with business clients
• Able to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones
