VaynerX is seeking an Associate Director, Strategy to lead social analytics and strategic initiatives from Gurgaon, India. You will drive real-time cultural signals, inform brand strategy, and partner with Creative Captains to fuel high-performing content.

The role requires deep experience in the Indian market and a proactive, start-up–like mindset within our global network. You will manage a team of strategists and analysts, conduct ongoing research, write briefs, and pitch to clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in social analytics & strategy in a creative advertising environment or in-house.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and cross-functional teams.

We’re looking for amazing people to join our India team (more specifically, an Associate Director, Strategy).

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Live and breathe their areas of expertise day in and day out to bring real time knowledge.
• Conduct daily scans across their passion areas for timely, relevance driving cultural signals.
• Drive daily cultural opportunities in AIM (with context around trends, conversations, emerging influencers, new competitors, vernacular, how its showing up on platforms, etc), so teams can optimize these signals authentically.
• Identify data-driven insights in a logical flow in order to deliver a compelling and enlightening story to client.
• Bring the consumer’s world to life through the use of qualitative and cultural mining, plus insightful synthesis of quantitative research.
• Demonstrate analytical and strategic skills to help solve client’s business problems.
• Partner closely with Creative Captains to ensure cultural insights and signals are actionable and fuel AIM sessions and inspire high-performing content.
• Deliver MRR / QRRs, Thought Leadership on relevance in these areas , brand opportunities.
• Continuously expand on expertise by pairing existing passions with new learning/areas..
• Serve as a flexible strategic resource - deployable across multiple accounts / initiatives.
• Facilitating brainstorms, workshops and ideation sessions that drive greater creativity and innovation.
• Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach to integrated marketing planning.
• Understanding of multiple channels for communications and connections, and their role in brand and content marketing

Experience/Knowledge Required

• 5+ years experience in social analytics & strategy in a creative advertising agency or in-house, min 2 years India market..
• Delivers work independently on all tasks and achieves results at pace with energy and drive.
• Actively participates in and leads collaborative sessions with clients and teams.
• Executes a strong sense of priority level and urgency; knows how to act on the critical difference between the two.
• Manages the ongoing performance of different tasks or projects, as well as understanding and ownership of internal processes for quality assurance.
• Tackles challenges in a responsive and constructive way.

Y/ou would be leading a team of talented strategists, social listening analysts, and community experts. As such, there are many hats you’d have to wear from day 1. You would need to conduct research, write briefs, guide work, pitch to clients - really anything and everything it takes to get the job done and deliver fantastic, big, bold, beautiful work.
