Job summary

NielsenIQ in India is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to build and maintain Oracle PL/SQL, Python, and GenAI‑driven solutions within our Azure‑enabled data platform. You will design, develop, and deploy AI‑enabled data processing pipelines, work on cross‑technology stacks including Unix Shell, Java, and CI/CD, and contribute to enterprise‑grade solutions in a fast‑paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and advanced SQL programming, Python and Java.
• Experience implementing AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record in solution design.
• Hands-on with large data sets and robust data processing pipelines.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Excellent English communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

We are looking for an experiencedPL/SQLand PythonDeveloper to be part of our Technology hub in India to build, maintain and transform our factory systems, that are critical to the business.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop solutions using Oracle PL/SQL,Python,Unix Shell Scriptingand Java
• Design, develop, and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Own high level solution design
• Provide solutions to improve process quality, understand emerging technologies, standards and best practices in cross platform development
• Demonstrate mastery in applyingconcepts, and methodologies toinnovative solutions
• Can work autonomously, and solvecomplex challenges, applyingmastery and demonstrating expertisein theirparticular domain
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and frameworks to maximize efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum2years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and advanced SQLprogramming,Python and Java
• Experience implementing AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record in solution design
• Good experience working with large data sets with hands‑on technology skills to design and build robust data processing engine using industry standard frameworks
• Hands‑on configuration management, monitoring, performance tuning of database operations
• Open and quick to learn new technologies and tools
• Experience working on Java and cloud platforms would be a bonus
• Excellent problem solving, hands‑on engineering skills and communication skills
• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Intermediatelevel understandingof Agile methodology, and software delivery via CI/CD.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in an enterprise Agile/SCRUMenvironment
• Strong knowledge of version control tools, preferablyGitHub
• Experience using Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Confluence andGithub
• Good to have experience working in an Azure Environment mainly deployment of code as docker container on AKS. Distributed deployment on AKS, debug containers, AKS load balancer.
• Certifications in Azure and or Agile would give additional weightage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross‑functional technology teams and the business
• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Motivated, high‑potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead.
• Knowledge on AI Essential, Gen AIetc
