Job summary

NIQ is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience to build scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. You will work on REST APIs, database integration, and AI-enabled features while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies, GitHub Copilot, and modern CI/CD practices will help you deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment at NIQ.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Proficiency in Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, Streams, and Multithreading.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Microservices.
• Experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with JUnit and unit/integration testing.
• AI & Generative AI Skills (Preferred).
• Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience integrating OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs into applications.
• Exposure to Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel is a plus.
• Experience building AI-powered chatbots, copilots, or knowledge assistants is preferred.

We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience in developing scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across front-end and back-end development, API integration, database management, and exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies.
