About The Role

About the role

As we enter an exciting new phase of rapid growth, we’re building next generation products and platforms that will redefine fintech globally. We’re on the hunt for Senior Full Stack Engineers who thrive on technical challenges across the entire stack, from intuitive, high quality user interfaces to scalable, cloud based backend systems. This role will focus on building end to end experiences for critical areas such as money movement flows, global third party financial integrations, and the customer facing products that sit on top of them.

What will you be doing?

• Design, develop, and maintain high performance, secure, and scalable web based fintech products end to end, spanning responsive frontend applications and microservices based backend systems.
• Build rich, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (or similar modern frontend frameworks), with a strong eye for performance and user experience.
• Define and implement robust software architectures across the frontend and backend that prioritize scalability, fault tolerance, maintainability, and resilience.
• Design and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless, reliable communication between client applications and backend services.
• Drive the adoption and integration of AI/ML models and techniques to enhance product features, optimize financial processes, and deliver intelligent user experiences.
• Stay at the forefront of new trends and best practices in frontend engineering, backend development, microservices, and AI integration, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborate effectively in English with cross functional teams across Engineering, Product, and Design to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver exceptional user experiences.

We would love to get to know you if you have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 4 to 8 years of proven experience in a software engineering role, including meaningful experience across both frontend and backend.
• Demonstrated experience working in fast paced startup environments or reputable tech companies, ideally with a background from top tier universities.
• Strong hands on proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience in React and its ecosystem (state management such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query; Next.js or similar frameworks).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, modern styling approaches (Tailwind, CSS in JS, design systems), responsive design, and web accessibility standards.
• Strong hands on proficiency in at least one backend language such as Node.js, Golang, Python, Java, or PHP.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing highly scalable and performant RESTful APIs within a microservices architectural paradigm.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, distributed systems design patterns, domain driven design, and frontend architecture patterns.
• Experience optimizing web application performance, including bundle size, rendering efficiency, caching strategies, and Core Web Vitals.
• A strong focus on code quality, adhering to best practices, and a demonstrated ability to ensure high standards through meticulous development and testing.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough code reviews, identify potential issues, and provide constructive feedback to elevate overall code quality.
• Expertise in writing and executing comprehensive unit, integration, and end to end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or similar), coupled with strong debugging skills.
• Exceptional problem solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving complex technical challenges across the stack.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, and a strong understanding of branching strategies.
• Experience working within agile methodologies and a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and cross functional collaboration.

Nice To Have

• Prior experience working in strong, tech oriented companies with a focus on innovation.
• Exposure to mobile development, particularly React Native.
• Experience building and maintaining design systems or shared component libraries.
• Hands on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS, especially in deploying and managing microservices and frontend applications.
• Familiarity with various database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with monitoring and observability tools for distributed systems and web applications.
• Domain expertise within the Fintech industry, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities.
