Qualifications

• Hands-on Angular development experience with modern frontend tech stack.
• Experience in test automation using Playwright and QA practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write maintainable, scalable frontend components and perform code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Angular-based web applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA Engineers to implement requirements.
• Build reusable frontend components following coding standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify and track defects using JIRA.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality and performance.
• Work with the team to ensure testability and quality across the SDLC.
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline activities and quality gates.
• Support release validation and post-deployment verification.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in Angular-based web application development and Quality Engineering practices. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of modern web applications while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

This role requires hands-on experience in Angular development, test automation using Playwright, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The candidate should be comfortable working in an Agile environment and have a strong mindset toward quality, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and related frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA Engineers to understand and implement business requirements.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable frontend components following coding standards and best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using JIRA.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and application performance.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure testability and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline activities and quality gates.
• Support release validation, test execution, and post-deployment verification.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

Qualifications

Frontend Development

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Angular
• TypeScript
• HTML5
• CSS3
• SCSS

Quality Engineering & Testing

• Experience in test automation using Playwright.
• Understanding of software testing principles, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience performing:
  • Functional Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • End-to-End Testing
  • Smoke Testing
• Experience creating, executing, and maintaining automated test suites.

Development Tools

• Proficiency in Git version control.
• Experience using JIRA for user stories, defect tracking, and sprint management.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.

Testing Frameworks

Experience with one or more of the following:

• Playwright
• Jest
