Job summary

NIQ is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Azure) to join our Pune-based team. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable, highly available systems, automating deployments, and supporting CI/CD pipelines in a 24x7 production environment.

You will work with Linux-based systems, AKS, Docker, Helm, and Azure services, collaborating with Development and QA teams, and contributing to on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• BS in Computer Science or comparable program.
• Hands-on experience running a 24x7 production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
• Experience with Azure cloud administration (VMs, networking, storage).
• Experience with AKS, Docker, and Helm.
• Basic networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
• Experience with Azure ADO CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Requirements

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

• Familiarity withAzure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Understandingbasic networking concepts(DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience withAzure ADO CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working withDocker and containerized applications.
• Working knowledge ofHelmfor managing Kubernetes applications.
• Troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues in cloud environments.
