About the Role

Leverage Partners is the B2B vertical of Leverage Edu, working with education consultants, coaching institutes, colleges, and recruitment partners who refer students for study abroad counseling, applications, and visa support.

As an Associate Senior Manager (ASM), you will own the complete business performance, revenue growth, and profitability of an assigned territory or state. This is a leadership role responsible for managing Business Development Managers (BDMs) and all the associates that report to them, driving partner acquisition and retention, ensuring operational excellence, and building a high-performing sales organization within the region.

You will serve as the primary business owner for your territory, responsible for delivering sustainable growth, strengthening partner relationships, resolving escalations, and creating a profitable and scalable business unit. This role requires strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities, analytical thinking, and the ability to consistently perform under ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
Territory Leadership & P&L Ownership
  • Own the complete revenue, growth, and profitability targets for the assigned state or territory.
  • Drive business expansion through partner acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Build and execute territory-level business plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor territory performance and take corrective actions to ensure target achievement.
  • Identify growth opportunities, market gaps, and competitive threats within the region.
  • Ensure sustainable and profitable business growth across the assigned territory.
Team Leadership & People Management
  • Lead and manage Business Development Managers (BDMs) within the territory.
  • Drive accountability and performance across the entire reporting hierarchy.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development discussions.
  • Mentor team members to improve productivity, partner engagement, and revenue generation.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, execution, and growth.
  • Ensure strong employee engagement and team morale across the region.
Partner Growth & Market Expansion
  • Expand the overall partner network within the assigned territory.
  • Increase the number of active partners contributing business consistently.
  • Improve productivity and revenue generation from existing partner accounts.
  • Develop region-specific growth strategies to maximize market penetration.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners and high-value accounts.
  • Personally engage with strategic partners to unlock large-scale business opportunities.
Escalation Management & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the escalation point for all partner-related concerns within the territory.
  • Ensure timely resolution of operational, commercial, and service-related issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partner accounts.
  • Protect partner satisfaction while balancing organizational objectives.
  • Ensure a seamless experience for partners across all stages of engagement.
Performance Management & Revenue Excellence
  • Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
  • Track partner-wise, BDM-wise, and territory-wise performance metrics.
  • Monitor pipeline health and forecast business accurately.
  • Analyze revenue trends and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Improve operational efficiency and maximize business conversion rates.
  • Ensure profitability remains a core focus across all business activities.
Training, Development & Compliance
  • Ensure teams are trained on products, university offerings, admissions processes, and market updates.
  • Conduct regular training, coaching, and skill-development sessions.
  • Drive adherence to company policies, ethical practices, and operational standards.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and integrity.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of organizational processes across the territory.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Admissions, Operations, University Relations, Finance, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
  • Collaborate to resolve business bottlenecks and improve partner experience.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate actively in business reviews, planning discussions, and growth initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the study abroad industry with team management responsibilities OR 10+ years of overall corporate experience with a proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Prior experience managing teams, revenue targets, and business operations at a regional or territory level.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of profitability and P&L management.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable handling pressure, ambiguity, and aggressive growth targets.
  • High ownership mindset with a bias for action and execution.
  • Strong reporting, forecasting, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and business reporting tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the assigned region is mandatory.
A Day in This Role
  • Conduct daily review meetings with BDMs and monitor regional performance.
  • Set clear priorities, targets, and action plans for the team.
  • Review revenue, applications, deposits, and pipeline health metrics.
  • Travel within the territory to meet strategic partners and key accounts.
  • Conduct field visits with team members to improve business productivity.
  • Resolve partner escalations and remove operational bottlenecks.
  • Coach and mentor team members through regular feedback and performance discussions.
  • Analyze territory performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and partner satisfaction.
  • Review profitability metrics and take corrective actions wherever required.
  • Prepare reports and business updates for senior leadership.
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
