Job summary

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Bengaluru. The Sales Associate will welcome and engage walk-in customers, understand their interior requirements, and present suitable design and product options. This role will involve explaining materials, finishes, and pricing, preparing basic quotations, and coordinating with the design and operations teams to ensure accurate project scoping. The Sales Associate will follow up on leads, maintain a pipeline of prospects, and support closure of sales through clear communication and professional guidance. Daily activities also include maintaining showroom displays, updating customer records, and supporting after-sales queries to ensure a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand interior design concepts, materials, and modular furniture basics (prior interiors or furniture sales experience is an advantage).
• Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical details in simple terms.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office or similar tools for quotations, documentation, and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client requirements simultaneously.
• Comfort working in a target-driven environment and collaborating with design, production, and installation teams.
• Prior experience in retail, interiors, real estate, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum high school diploma; a degree or diploma in business, marketing, interior design, or a related field is a plus.
