Job summary

EY’s Global Delivery Services in India is seeking a Resource Management Associate (RA) to support the Resource Deployment network with end-to-end reporting and administrative duties. The role emphasizes analytics, reporting insights, and timely delivery across multiple service lines.

You will handle resourcing data, ensure accuracy of headcount forecaster outputs, and collaborate with senior team members to drive efficient staffing while maintaining high quality standards in a dynamic, globally

Qualifications

• Graduates with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in resource management, scheduling or staffing concepts.
• Exposure to short-term and long-term resource planning is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Produce resourcing reports daily and ensure consistency and quality across key reports such as resource availability and engagement reports.
• Support headcount forecasting, scheduling and demand planning to help meet delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with CoE Analytics for strategic reporting requests and maintain accuracy in RM/RC insights.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for candidates who can work with us as Experience Management (EM) POC for assigned SET(s)/industry/sector teams to ensure timely execution of RM Reporting Activities and deliver highest quality support while meeting delivery timelines.

You will be responsible for executing tasks with increasing autonomy, applying sound judgment within defined parameters, and contributing to team outcomes. You are expected to demonstrate initiative, resolve routine issues independently, and support junior colleagues.

You will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

Overview

The Resource Assistant (RA) is an important support role to Service Line Resource Deployment teams and the wider Resource Deployment network.

The role provides an end to end reporting & administrative support both to the Resource Deployment team and to the business with a focus around reporting insights and analytics.

This role is supervised by the SL Resource Deployment team and may work with several individuals on a day to day basis including some limited client facing contact with the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Data, analytics & projects

• Produce respective resourcing reports as per the set delivery time lines on a daily basis.
• Ensure consistency and quality with key resourcing reports like resource availability, Engagement reports, RVA, Clash resolution, bench availability reports etc
• Weekly performance comparison of the service line with the forecast and actuals. Further research on producing summary of root causes of performance impacted areas.
• Follow up of variances, driving greater retain/profinda adoption compliance and escalating issues to Resource Deployment Lead
• Seek Guidance from the CoE Analytics team for any strategic/critical reporting requests

Resource Management

• Support the RC and RM’s with Resourcing insights for planning and demand fulfilment. Help in scheduling/forecasting.
• Ensure Headcount Forecaster accuracy;
• Support the adoption and increased use of competency, skills and CV repositories including My Competency and Discover; and
• Support with mandatory training requirements for client teams, this includes nominations based on rank and grade, allocating training sessions without causing clash with chargeable work and further coordinating training swap requests from the business.

Skills and attributes for success:

The role requires someone who can manage a number of concurrent activities, with strong multi-tasking, prioritization, organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, management team and other Departments, including being sensitive to professional ethics;
• Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Good hands on expertise with Advance excel reporting and Power BI
• Flexible with working hours;
• Ability to work in a constantly changing work environment;
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanour at all time;
• Ability to organize information and have attention to detail and accurately follow procedures;
• Ability to establish strong partnerships with all levels of the organization while adjusting communications to the specified audience;

• Ability to analyse information and use logic and process knowledge to address work-related issues and problems;
• Strong business acumen;
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks;
