In this role, you’ll support the execution of reinsurance strategies by coordinating with internal teams and reinsurance partners, ensuring timely documentation, accurate records, and compliance with regulatory requirements, including IRDAI norms.

Primary Responsibilities

• Be the first line of support for reinsurance operations, handling endorsements, claims recoveries, and reconciliation tasks
• Maintain accurate records for treaty and facultative contracts in line with internal controls and audit requirements
• Liaise with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to ensure completeness and correctness of data shared with reinsurers
• Assist in timely preparation and submission of reinsurance bordereaux, summaries, and reports
• Track reinsurance premium settlements and claims recoveries, ensuring clear audit trails and compliance
• Support data collation and analysis for regulatory filings and internal MIS reports

Required Skills

• Experience: 1–3 years in reinsurance operations or insurance back‑office functions in Indian general insurance companies
• Core Skills: Precision in documentation, interdepartmental coordination, basic knowledge of IRDAI regulations
• Tech Base: Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or Insurance‑specific education such as Licentiate or Associateship from III
• Bonus Power‑Up: Familiarity with reinsurance software (e.g., SICS, SAP FS‑RI), or experience with Schedule 3/IFRS reconciliation processes
