Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank in Indore is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager-Liabilities to deepen Rural Banking relationships and provide best-in-class service to customers. You will support Relationship Managers, drive liability product penetration, lead generation, and account openings while ensuring KYC compliance and smooth onboarding across catchment areas.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, building household relationships, and contributing to the bank’s growth through proactive customer

Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant branch banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead area mapping in the catchment and maintain daily activity/sales reports.
• Prepare wish list of customers through cold calling and promotions to drive awareness of bank products.
• Ensure completion of account opening formalities with KYC compliance (field verification mandatory).
• Engage customers with multiple products at account opening (mobile banking, net banking, RD/FD activation).
• Ensure account activation and maintain account health.
• Provide superior customer service to capture larger wallet share.
• Lead resolution of customer queries and issues.
• Assess client needs and generate revenue via cross-sell opportunities per lifestyle/risk profiling.
• Ensure compliance as per bank requirements.
• Recommend process changes to improve service efficiency and quality across branches.
• Support livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.

Role/Job Title: Associate Relationship Manager-Liabilities

Function/Department: Rural Banking

Job Purpose: The role entails deepening relationships with Rural Banking accounts and ensuring best in-class service to the customers. The role bearer has a responsibility to support Relationship Manager in penetration of liabilities business in Rural markets through lead generations and account opening as per needs of customer. The role bearer is responsible for driving client acquisition, building household level customer relationships and capitalizing on lifetime value in each relationship to achieve larger organizational goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead Area Mapping in the catchment and maintain accurate and timely daily activity / Sales reports.
• Prepare Wish list of customers through cold calling and promotion activities to drive awareness about the bank and products across the catchment area.
• Ensure completion of account opening formalities with strict adherence to KYC norms. (Field verification Mandatory)
• Engage customers with multiple products at the time of account Opening. (viz: Mobile banking / Net banking registration / Recurring Deposit-Fixed Deposit activation)
• Ensuring account activation and subsequently maintaining the health of account.
• Ensure superior customer service to capture larger wallet share of population.
• Spearhead resolution of customer queries and issues.
• Assess and evaluate the client needs and generate new sources of revenue by leveraging cross sell opportunities as per their lifestyle, risk profiling and requirements.
• Ensure compliance as per the bank requirements.
• Recommend process changes in order to improve service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
• Provide support for implementation of livelihood advancement and community development initiatives.

Education Qualification
