Novo Nordisk India leads the search for an Associate Regional Capability Building Manager to act as learning ambassador in the region, turning business and clinical insights into practical, evidence-based training that improves team performance and patient outcomes.

You will collaborate with Sales, Medical, Marketing, HR and field leaders to design, deliver and localise learning solutions, upholding ethics and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or science from a recognised institution.
• 2+ years in a Sales Training function.
• 3+ years field sales in pharma/healthcare (5+ years preferred).
• Experience in Rare Disease, Public Care, Market Access, KAM, or Specialty Care.
• Knowledge of government reimbursement and healthcare systems.
• Excellent communication, coaching and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute induction training at zonal level for new Field Executives.
• Evaluate induction training effectiveness and provide reports.
• Conduct Joint Field Work and identify training needs in the zone.
• Assist Sales Training Manager in design/implementation of zone training.
• Share feedback with stakeholders and track Sales Training MIS at zonal level.

Your new role

As an Associate Regional Capability Building Manager, you will be the learning ambassador for your region — turning business and clinical insights into practical, evidence-based training that improves team performance and patient outcomes. You will collaborate with Sales, Medical, Marketing, HR and field leaders to design, deliver and localise learning solutions, communicating the value of training while upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Your key responsibilities will include

• As Associate Regional Capability Building Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and execute the induction training at zonal level to all newly recruited Field Executives within a predefined time frame. You shall be responsible to evaluate the effectiveness of induction training program imparted and provide relevant reports.
• You shall conduct Joint Field Work with Field Executives as per the selling strategy. Identifying and tabulating the training needs of the field force in the zone by attending predefined meetings shall be executed by you.
• As the Associate Regional Capability Building Manager, you shall be responsible to assisting the Sales Training Manager in designing and implementing the sales training initiatives for the Zone.
• You shall be responsible for sharing feedback with all the key stakeholders of all the activities at as per a predefined time frame. Additionally, you shall also track and maintain the Sales Training MIS at the Zonal Level.
• As a Associate Regional Capability Building Manager, you shall be required to act in line with ethical standards, company procedures and Novo Nordisk Way.

Your skills & qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should bring a blend of field experience and a genuine passion for developing others. We’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or science from a recognised institution
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sales Training function
• At least 3 years' field sales experience in the pharma/healthcare sector (5+ years total field sales experience preferred)
• Strong experience in Rare Disease, Public Care, Market Access, KAM, or Specialty Care businesses
• Expertise in government reimbursement and institutional healthcare systems
• Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities
• Proven ability to drive capability development and field excellence
• Creative, results-driven mindset with solid operational execution; professional training certifications (e.g., ISTD Diploma) are a plus
• Willingness to relocate and travel regionally as required
