Are you ready to join a high-performing team where your work directly shapes commercial success? We're looking for a motivated professional with sharp thinking, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for developing others. If you enjoy working with people and want to build capability that moves the business forward, this is your opportunity.

Your new role

As an Associate Regional Capability Building Manager, you will be the learning ambassador for your region — turning business and clinical insights into practical, evidence-based training that improves team performance and patient outcomes. You will collaborate with Sales, Medical, Marketing, HR and field leaders to design, deliver and localise learning solutions, communicating the value of training while upholding the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Coach and develop Rare Disease and Public Care field teams through regular field visits and on-the-job coaching.

  • Build capabilities in scientific communication, stakeholder engagement, account management, negotiation, and value-based customer conversations.

  • Strengthen team effectiveness in public healthcare systems, government reimbursement processes, institutional business, and market access.

  • Partner with Sales, Medical, Marketing, Market Access, and regional leaders to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development initiatives.

  • Design and facilitate learning programmes, workshops, simulations, and capability-building interventions.

  • Monitor capability development outcomes and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

  • Support onboarding and development of new team members while fostering a coaching culture across the region.

Your new department

The Sales Training team at Novo Nordisk India sits within Commercial Capability Building - People & Organization. Here, we build commercial capability by creating and delivering focused learning solutions — classroom, virtual and on-the-job — that strengthen product knowledge, sales skills and leadership behaviours. Working closely with cross-functional departments, we translate strategy into learning roadmaps, measure impact and drive continuous improvement to enable better business performance.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or science from a recognised institution

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sales Training function

  • At least 3 years' field sales experience in the pharma/healthcare sector (5+ years total field sales experience preferred)

  • Strong experience in Rare Disease, Public Care, Market Access, KAM, or Specialty Care businesses

  • Expertise in government reimbursement and institutional healthcare systems

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities

  • Proven ability to drive capability development and field excellence

  • Creative, results-driven mindset with solid operational execution; professional training certifications (e.g., ISTD Diploma) are a plus

  • Willingness to relocate and travel regionally as required
