Job summary

Eaton Technologies in Pune, India, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer / Data Analyst to join the Quality CoE within the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence. You will work with the Business Quality team on the DMR Chargeback COPQ Recovery process, data analysis, reports, and supplier quality projects.

The role involves collaborating with Eaton sites and suppliers, driving COPQ recovery, updating trackers, performing QC checks per ISO, and supporting leadership with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• BE degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Production (preferred).
• 2–4 years of supplier quality, data analysis or quality domain experience.
• Strong communication and data analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Eaton sites and suppliers to manage COPQ recovery and related costs.
• Achieve DMR Chargeback goals; act as SPOC for COPQ across the business.
• Review invoices and update trackers; present status to leadership.
• Perform QC checks and maintain ISO-compliant records.
• Provide technical/analytical support to customers and stakeholders.
• Process DMR Chargeback in Finance ERP per ISO guidelines.
• Negotiate with suppliers to minimize refunds and costs.
• Deploy COPQ processes across business units.
• Conduct supplier and plant trainings on DMR fee process.
• Report DMR counts and related charges; manage ASL data.
• Support data reporting with minimal supervision.

Job description

What you ll do:

Function as an individual contributor and as part of the Quality CoE within the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence, Pune mainly work with Business Quality team on DMR Chargeback COPQ Recovery process, data analysis / reports / data collection and a specific supplier quality related projects.

• 1) Closely work with Eaton sites and Suppliers to track and monitor the cost of poor quality of the supplier and get the approval in to the system and recovery from the suppliers
• 2) Responsible for achieving the DMR Chargeback related Goals. Act as SPOC for COPQ process for all the business and execute, plan , guide and mentor to other business team.
• 3) Review and verify invoices and check the status of the recovery and Updatation into the master trackers and present to business on timely basis.
• 4) Perform the QC checks and maintain the record as per ISO guidelines
• 5) Provides technical and/or analytical support to Customers/Stakeholders in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems related to the process.
• 6). Responsible of processing transactions related to DMR Chargeback processes like Debit Memo Creation into Finance ERP system, follow the processes as per ISO guidelines
• 7) Do negations with suppliers for tracking the COPQ cost effectively and minimize the refund fees.
• 8) Horizontally deploy the process across all the business to expand the scope of the DMR fee process.
• 9) Conduct the Suppliers trainings and plant trainings on DMR fee process.
• 10) Work data reporting and ASL (Approved Supplier list) suppliers master data managements.
• 11) Support quality team by monitoring and tracking like DMR Count, Debit memo related to CONC Charges for DMR chargeback process.
• 12) Work is performed with minimal supervision with Accuracy and OTD
• 13) Support Team to prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management reports for Eaton senior leadership. (Mainly divisional managers, including senior management) in extracting, compiling data from multiple Supplier Quality data systems and tools
• 14) Analyzes problems involving multiple interrelated causes and provide best suited resolution.
• 15) Works independently within the context of specific project and function deliverables and defines milestones and reports on results.
• 16) Flexible in attitude and approach to accepting all tasks related to the position.
• 17) Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required

Qualifications:

• - Basic Qualifications: - BE (Preferred Electrical , Electronics ,Mechanical,Production etc ),

• Minimum 2 -4 Years of experience as Supplier quality Engineer or data analyst or in quality domain.
