Job summary

Raychem RPG is seeking a fresher Mechanical candidate for a 3-shift QA/inspection role at the Vasai office. The position involves deploying inspectors, performing in-process inspections and tests, and maintaining records for traceability. Daily QA reports and root cause analysis with production are part of the role.

Candidates with BE Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical and 0–1 year of experience are preferred. The job runs Mon–Sat with a free bus facility for pickup and drop.

Qualifications

• Fresher position for BE Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical
• 0–1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing/QA
• Willing to work in a 3-shift setup (7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, 11pm–7am)
• Location: Vasai, Mumbai region (Raychem RPG)
• Mon–Sat work week

Responsibilities

• Deploy inspectors in the assigned shift based on availability and inspector skills.
• Ensure M100 and Split test of running machine products.
• Conduct in-process visual inspection and testing with traceability.
• Maintain records and documents for in-process inspection and testing.
• Prepare daily QA in-process rejection reports.
• Provide timely feedback on inspection results and perform root cause analysis with production for yield improvement.
• Support data collection for capability studies.
• Report issues to manager and discuss corrective actions for customer complaints and audits.
• Update Why-why tracker for major rejections and countermeasure implementation.
• Support QM Pillar methodology implementation.
• Shall have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ensure documentation and compliance within shift.

Role & responsibilities

This is 3rd party contractual role with Raychem RPG at Vasai Office.

1. Depolyment of Inspectors in his shift, according to the availability and skill of inspector.

2. Responsible for ensuring M100 & Split test of each running machine products

3. Responsible for In-process visual inspection & testings and traceability requirements in his shift.

4. Responsible to maintain the records & documents of In-process inspection and testings in his shift

5. Responsible for preparing daily QA In-process Rejection Report.

6. Giving timely feedback of In-process inspections & testings results to production & do root cause analysis with them to take corrective actions for yield improvement.

7. Support in data collection for capability studies.

8. Responsible for reporting /discussing with his manager with all the issues he is faced in his shift. 9. Support in implementation of corrective actions for Customer complaint closure, process/ product audit NC findings.

10. Update Why-why tracker for daily major rejections keep track on countermeasure implementation.

11. Support for QM Pillar methodology implementation .

12. Shall have Good Verbal / Written communication skill.
