Job summary

Jobtailor in Chennai, India, is seeking a QA Analyst to strengthen test strategy, develop test plans, and collaborate with IT Application Delivery to craft effective testing approaches for web applications.

You will drive test automation using Java, Selenium and Cucumber, integrate tests into CI/CD with Maven/Jenkins or Azure DevOps, and participate in Scrum activities to ensure quality from requirements to release. Excellent communication and hands-on testing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering.
• 1 to 3 years professional experience as a QA Analyst.
• 1+ years with automation framework in Java Selenium (TESTNG/Cucumber framework)
• Exposure to Playwright using TypeScript would be an added advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Java-Selenium automation using BDD Cucumber or TESTNG frameworks
• Experience testing web-based applications
• Strong hands-on experience in functional testing
• Experience incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Maven and Jenkins or Azure DevOps
• Experience configuring and triggering pipelines and GitHub/GitLab Actions
• Experience working with Agile methodologies within a Scrum team environment
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet deadlines

Responsibilities
