Jobtailor is seeking a senior QA Engineer to design and maintain automated tests using Playwright and JavaScript, while also performing comprehensive manual testing for web and mobile apps. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software testing, including 3+ years in automation, and strong SQL skills for data validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of software testing experience with at least 3 years in automation testing
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript, Postman and Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
• Experience with manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, sanity, and end-to-end testing
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test management
• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum
• Experience working with Git and CI/CD environments
