Job summary

Inizio Ignite, a global advisory partner for health and life sciences, seeks a Project Manager to cost and oversee fieldwork setup and data collection. You will contribute to operations and drive efficiency in project management across relevant Pillars, coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

You will negotiate costs, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables, with emphasis on healthcare market research projects and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in market research project management (quantitative research).
• Experience managing healthcare market research projects.
• Knowledge of the fieldwork agency landscape.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, obtaining and negotiating costs from external suppliers and panel providers for Research Partnership proposals.
• Updating suppliers on quotes and status.
• Overseeing fieldwork management for smooth execution.
• Handover of project deliverables to research team.
• Coordinate Data Processing work based on specs and templates.
• Own and update project timelines with internal teams and external clients/suppliers.
• Coordinate project team meetings and mentor junior members when applicable.
• Coordinate Pharmacovigilance and Adverse Event reporting.
• Manage Statements of Work (SOWs) with clients and suppliers.
• Handle client and supplier invoicing with Finance.
• Own sub-topics as part of department pillars (Clients, Suppliers, People, Innovation, Operational Excellence).

Role Overview

The role of the Project Manager is to cost and oversee the set up and management of fieldwork and data collection to ensure successful completion within best practices. You will also be expected to contribute to company operations processes; providing proactive ideas and plans about improving the efficiency of the project management function and projects. Core, but not exclusive, responsibilities will include:

What you'll be doing

• Responsibility for sourcing, obtaining and negotiating commercially advantageous costs from external suppliers and panel providers for Research Partnership project proposals
• Updating suppliers on the status of their quotes
• Overseeing the smooth running of fieldwork management
• Successful handover of project deliverables to research team:
• Coordination of Data Processing (DP) work and deliverables, based on specs and templates provided by the project team (Quant-only)
• Own, coordinate and update project timelines with internal research and external client and supplier stakeholders
• Take ownership for coordinating project team meetings,
• Opportunity to develop line management responsibilities for junior members of the team
• Responsibility for Pharmacovigilance and Adverse Event reporting
• Coordination of client and supplier Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Client and supplier invoice management (PO numbers, invoicing and liaison with Finance team)
• You will own specific sub-topics as a member of one of the department’s Pillars (Clients, Suppliers, People, Innovation, Operational Excellence)

What you’ll need

• More than 3 years of experience in market research project management (quantitative research)
• Experience managing healthcare market research projects
• Knowledge of the fieldwork agency landscape
• Strong project management skills (adhering to agreed timelines, troubleshooting and communication with internal and external stakeholders)
• Ability to multitask
• Collaboration and working as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent numerical skills
