Job summary

Dhruva Space in Hyderabad is seeking an Associate - Project Management to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of satellite ground station infrastructure projects. This hands-on role requires coordinating civil works, RF/hardware setup, and on-site deployments while balancing schedules, budgets and safety requirements.

You will manage vendors, track procurement, monitor costs, and prepare weekly status reports and dashboards for engineering leads and management.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have 1–3 years of PM or site execution experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications / Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Telecommunications engineering.
• Experience in satellite ground station deployment preferred.
• Proficiency with PM tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, critical path baselines, and execution milestones for site deployment.
• Supervise day-to-day progress across civil works, antenna structure assembly, and RF/hardware equipment setup.
• Monitor project expenditure, track cost baselines, manage procurement orders, and ensure budgets.
• Coordinate with civil contractors, equipment suppliers, and EPC partners; track deliverables and enforce SLA.
• Manage supply chain logistics for heavy equipment transport and permits; track regulatory clearances.
• Maintain risk registers, identify bottlenecks, and present weekly status reports and dashboards.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:
Dhruva Space is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate - Project Management to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our satellite ground station infrastructure projects. In this high-impact, hands-on role, you will be the driving force behind our on-the-ground site deployments, managing everything from civil works to operational handover. You will balance strict project scheduling with on-site coordination, managing vendors, controlling costs, and ensuring the seamless delivery of the ground infrastructure that supports our global satellite connectivity network.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, critical path baselines, and execution milestones for site deployment.
  Supervise day-to-day progress across civil works (foundation pads, power backup, UPS, shelters), antenna structure assembly, and RF/hardware equipment setup.
  
• Monitor project expenditure, track cost baselines, manage procurement orders, and ensure strict adherence to allocated budgets.
  
• Coordinate with civil contractors, equipment suppliers, and EPC partners; track deliverables, enforce SLA compliance, and evaluate vendor performance.
  
• Manage supply chain logistics for heavy equipment transport and customs clearance, and track site-level regulatory permits (e.g., WPC frequency approvals, local land/safety clearances).
  
• Maintain project risk registers, identify execution bottlenecks early, prepare weekly status reports, and present progress dashboards to engineering leads and management.
  

Candidate Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of demonstrated experience in project management, technical site execution, or engineering delivery.
  
• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  
• Prior experience in satellite ground station deployment is preferred Candidates with strong backgrounds in telecommunications infrastructure (cell tower roll-outs), defence/radar systems, power/solar infrastructure, or industrial EPC projects.
  
• Proficiency in standard project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or MS Excel).
  
• Strong vendor negotiation skills, budget management, and effective cross-functional communication capabilities.
