Associate Product Managers at FieldAssist are responsible for identifying problems, prioritizing ideas, and solving them through product – from problem discovery to conceptualization to launch.
Responsibilities
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirement documents and prototypes.
- Set up, gather, and analyze user data; conduct user interviews and competitive studies to suggest the best ways to solve a problem.
- Articulate customer problems and create detailed scope documents, groom them with the tech team and product owner.
- Meet regularly with all stakeholders – product managers, account managers, developers, marketing, and customer service – to collate feedback on the product.
- Drive adoption of features in beta at the client side.
- Conduct user acceptance testing for product releases.
- Identify the need for new features based on customer feedback, industry trends, and business goals.
- Define the objectives of market research, e.g., understand customer preferences, identify market gaps, or evaluate competitors.
- Identify the market need or customer pain point that the new module aims to address.
- Schedule meetings with clients to discuss their requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes.
Qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech with 2–3 years of overall experience, with hands‑on experience in a product role.
- Product management experience – at least 1 year.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- High number of problems solved and ability to discuss them with clarity of thought.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with high entropy and pressure situations.
- Showcasing a get‑stuff‑done attitude.
- Strong ownership and work ethic.
- Technically adept: knowledge of APIs (Postman), database (SQL).
- Preference: Experience with B2B product development.
- Preference: Experience with enterprise/high‑stake/demanding B2B customers.
- Preference: Start‑up experience.
- Experience: 1–3 years full‑time experience (3 years is a hard cap).
