Job summary

Aditya Birla Capital is seeking a capable IT project specialist responsible for requirements elicitation, design, and implementation of IT solutions for the assigned system, within approved scope, time and cost.

The role involves meeting stakeholders to gather business needs, drafting requirements, and coordinating with the development team to produce a Functional Specification Document (FSD) and to oversee UAT and sign-off.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse user requirements from stakeholders and document gaps.
• Draft Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate with development teams to map requirements to design and implementation tasks.
• Oversee UAT and obtain sign-off from business users.
• Handle project closure activities and ensure system stability post go-live.
• Provide applications support and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.

• Managing a change in scope of the project within the set timelines.
• Delivering large number of projects within limited timelines with available resources.

Key Result Areas

KRA1 Requirement gathering & UAT 1. Gather and analyse user requirements.

• Meet user groups, stakeholders to get all requirement business perspective.
• Integrate user needs with current process.
• Creating the FSD.
• Sign off on the FSD.
• Evaluate the requirements with the development team to arrive at gaps.
• Publish gap document and related customisation/development efforts along-with any cost-time impacts.
• Assistance is provided to the user team to develop test plans.
• Co-ordination with the user group.
• Documentation of UAT.
• Sign-off on UAT from the business group.

KRA2 Handle project closure and ensure system stability. 1. Moving the approved UAT to production.

• Handing over the relevant areas to end user.
• Monitoring the user issues and ensuring systems stability in production.

KRA3 Provide applications support to all users. 1. Manage mechanism to record and resolve production issues and support queries within the agreed SLAs.
