Job summary

Umanist NA is seeking an Associate Product Manager to own the product lifecycle of a core commerce platform module. The role requires collaboration with Engineering, Business, and Customer teams to deliver impactful features in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of full-time Product Management experience in B2B SaaS or related sectors, with strong SQL skills and experience writing PRDs within Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
• Gather customer insights through interviews, data analysis, and market research.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.
• Create detailed PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Make data-driven prioritization decisions.
• Define and track success metrics for product initiatives.
• Work closely with Engineering, QA, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery from discovery through launch.
• Interact with customers to understand workflows and pain points.
• Monitor product adoption, usage metrics, and customer feedback.
• Perform competitive analysis of commerce and supply chain platforms.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Own the product roadmap from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
• Gather customer insights through interviews, data analysis, and market research.

Product Development

• Create detailed PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

• Experience in B2B SaaS, Commerce-Tech, Logistics-Tech, Supply Chain, or E-commerce platforms.
• Strong SQL experience(minimum 2 years of hands-on experience).
• Experience writing PRDs and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to work with engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Good to Have

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Metabase, or Looker.
• Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and platform architecture.
• Exposure to AI/ML-powered product features.
• Experience in a high-growth product startup.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• MBA is a plus.

Strict Screening Guidelines (Mandatory)

• 1–3 years of Product Management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SQL experience (Mandatory).
• Experience in B2B SaaS, Commerce-Tech, Logistics-Tech, Supply Chain, or E-commerce products.
• Experience working closely with Engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Product-based company experience preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred (avoid frequent job hoppers).
