Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an Associate Principal Engineer, Agile Coach to drive Agile maturity and delivery across multiple squads in the South Asia region.

You will coach Scrum Masters and Product Owners, lead SAFe transformations, facilitate ceremonies and planning, remove bottlenecks, and promote collaboration between engineering, Product, and leadership to achieve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Agile coaching in enterprise environments.
• Experience coaching multiple Agile squads and teams.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean and SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Coach multiple Agile squads and drive improvements in maturity and delivery.
• Lead Agile transformation initiatives across technology and business teams.
• Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Agile teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, retrospectives and planning sessions.
• Identify delivery bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improve delivery predictability, team effectiveness and Agile performance using relevant metrics.
• Promote effective collaboration between Engineering, Product, Business and Leadership teams.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, communication and effective decision-making across programs.
• Establish scalable Agile practices using Scrum, Kanban, Lean and SAFe.

Associate Principal Engineer, Agile Coach

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience 9+ years
• Strong experience as an Agile Coach / Delivery Coach in enterprise environments
• Strong experience managing and coaching multiple Agile squads
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean and SAFe methodologies
• Experience driving Agile transformation, team maturity and continuous improvement
• Strong experience coaching Scrum Masters and Product Owners
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and collaboration skills
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps
• Strong programmatic mindset with focus on delivery effectiveness and business goals
• Experience in Project/Delivery Leadership and managing delivery bottlenecks
• Retail / Product Engineering experience is preferred
• SAFe/SPC, ICAgile/ICP-ACC, CSM/PSM certification is preferred
