Job summary

Grundfos in Chennai, India, invites a Supply Planner to orchestrate end-to-end supply planning, ensuring material availability, production readiness and on-time delivery across global operations. You will optimize plans, coordinate with production, procurement and logistics, monitor performance, and manage inventory to balance service levels with working capital.

The role requires a Bachelor's in SCM/Engineering, 3+ years in supply or production planning, SAP experience and strong Excel skills,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or materials planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory targets.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor supply performance metrics and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage inventory levels to balance service level targets with working capital optimization.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply constraints and expedite critical orders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and S&OP practices.

What you will be doing
