Open Links Foundation

Open Links Foundation (OLF) is a Pune-based nonprofit that works to make government schools better and more aspirational for every child. Through their Vinoba programme, they support teachers with a mobile app, help district administrators run programmes more efficiently, and build strong on-ground teams. OLF currently works with over 68,000 schools, 2,30,000 teachers, and reaches more than 40 lakh students across 39 districts in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar.

Role

Support fundraising efforts and manage partnerships with donors, CSR partners, and institutions. This is a hands-on role that sits across fundraising, programmes, monitoring and evaluation, and finance, with high ownership and tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential donors, partners, and funding opportunities
• Develop proposals, concept notes, presentations, and donor communications
• Manage CSR and institutional partnerships, including compliance, finance, and coordination with programme teams
• Assist with due diligence processes, MoUs, grant agreements, and renewal conversations
• Coordinate fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach activities
• Prepare donor reports, impact stories, and progress updates on time
• Maintain strong relationships with donors and partners through clear communication and financial compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, or marketing
• Proven experience in proposal writing, grant applications, or donor engagement
• Strong writing skills demonstrated through policy papers, blogs, research outputs, or published work
• Comfortable working with data-heavy narratives and large datasets, trackers, or dashboards in Excel
• Python or R skills are useful but not required
• Proficiency in English is essential; Hindi and Marathi are an added advantage
• Exposure to event management, campaigns, or digital fundraising platforms is a plus
• Genuine commitment to improving education in government schools
• Close mentorship from the Partnerships and leadership team with structured feedback on proposals and strategic thinking
• Direct exposure to senior leadership, advisors, and donors through high-level meetings and reviews
• Hands-on experience across the full fundraising cycle from research to reporting and compliance
• Strong potential for role expansion based on performance
