About the Team

The Merchant Integration team assists Paytm’s merchants with payment product integration, helping them understand the payment solutions and implementing them.

About the Role

In this role, you will lead a group of individuals, monitor daily/weekly/monthly progress, and coordinate with different internal stakeholders relating to payment solutions and services.

Expectations / Requirements

• The individual will lead the group of individuals who will assist Paytm’s merchants with the integration of Paytm payment products.
• The individual will work along with the team, Paytm Product, Tech, and Business Team to understand different product suites and their implementation.
• The individual will take ownership of the team, mentor them, handle escalations, and coordinate with different teams to get things done.
• The individual will take part in meetings/conferences with various internal and external stakeholders involved in the Paytm payment product integration process, onboarding process and operations process.
• The individual will maintain regular reports, analyze the data available, and present the data as requested.
• The individual must be quick and maintain a minimum TAT for himself and the team.
• The individual will be responsible for a few operational tasks to manage daily work via different workflow tools.
• The individual must have a good understanding of IT terminology and concepts with up-to-date technical knowledge and an in‑depth understanding of any coding language.
• The individual must possess strong communication skills and excellent problem‑solving skills.
• The individual must be able to work in a 24×7 environment.

Superpowers / Skills that will Help You Succeed in This Role

• Knowledge of any language (Ex: PHP, JAVA, ASP.Net, Python, etc) and platforms (Android, iOS, Hybrid Apps, Plugins).
• Hands‑on experience in debugging issues for the above‑mentioned languages and platforms.
• Experience in platform integrations/implementation/solutions teams for products and services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Analytics and presentation skills.
• Experience in leading people, maintaining processes, and enhancing processes.
