GMR Airports Infrastructure invites applications for the Associate Manager - TMT to oversee preventive maintenance of airport specialized machines at the Delhi IGI campus. The role requires hands-on experience with heavy machinery and SAP-based procurement, budget planning, and vendor coordination.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical/Automobile engineering background with at least five years of airport maintenance exposure, and a strong focus on availability, safety, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

> Must have B.E./B.Tech Mechanical/Automobile Engineer.
> Minimum of 5 years experience in handling automobile maintenance, preferably in airports.

Responsibilities

> Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for airport specialized machines (Rosenbeaur, runway rubber removal machines, runway friction tester, sweeping machines, etc.).
> Monitor runway friction values to ensure safe operation.
> Deployment of rubber removal machine and friction test measurements of all runways at IGI Airport.
> Manage inventory and R&M cost optimization; plan spares procurement and budgeting; work on SAP for procurement.

Job Title: Associate Manager - TMT

JOB PURPOSE

Plan & execute Preventive Maintenance activities for specialized machines in DIAL Airport (like Rosenbeaur, Runway rubber removal machine, runway friction tester, sweeping machines etc) in order to ensure availability at all times and at minimal cost.
Monitor the Runway friction value of all three runways with friction tester for Safe operation.

Accountabilities

Maintenance of Vehicles & Airport Specialized machines:

Planning & execution of schedules & preventive maintenance activity of Airport specialized machineries like Rosenbeaur, runway rubber removal machines, Runway friction tester, sweeping machines , Paint marking machines etc.
Monitoring of maintenance activity to ensure quality works to minimize the breakdowns & turnaround time.
Deployment of rubber removal machine & friction test measurement of all runways at IGI Airport.

Key Performance Indicators

Higher availability of machineries & vehicles minimum 90% availability.

Fuel consumption optimisation.

Smooth operation of all runways at IGI Airport.

Inventory Management & R&M cost optimisation:

Plan & procure the critical spares for the Airport specialized machineries, vehicles/equipment within time frame.
Preparation of the annual Budget and budget (BOQ) against the requirement.
Make the analysis for the last years consumption of the major spares and find out the root cause for the major consumption
Working on SAP for spares procurement.

Availability of running spares.

Vendor Developments & monitoring:,Developing the authorized and long time service deliverable vendor for the supply of spare and R&M.,Implementation & monitoring of SLAs for the AMC/CMC contractors(Cost optimization & better service)
Health, Safety environment system and Regulatory Compliance:,Drive the implementation and strict adherence of the different HSE systems and quality standard (ISO 9001, 14001, 50001 & 18001), internal & external audit compliance.,Maintain the documents & monitored as per the ISO Standard requirement.(No. of non conformance during the audit)
Improvements & Capex Project:,a) Continues improvement & sustenance for 5 S & DIAL Lean activities. Maintain the process & work culture as per the ISO standard. Monthly Tracking of MIS, Monthly Opex Budget Tracking.,b) Planning the BOQ & Execution & monitoring of Capex projects.(No. of suggestion.,Audit review.,No. of Improvements.,On time completion of Capex project.,)
