Job summary

Adani Capital Pvt Ltd is seeking an Associate Manager - Engineering to lead structural design and analysis for precast components and building systems. You will review drawings, coordinate with architects and MEP teams, and guide a multifunctional team to ensure safe, compliant, and innovative solutions.

You will manage design risks, promote standardization, and engage with clients to secure approvals while driving a digital mindset across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of experience in structural design, preferably in precast construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis and design of precast components and building systems using Tekla, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000 and CONSYS.
• Review drawings prepared by junior engineers, detailers and draftsmen for accuracy and constructability.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients and MEP teams to integrate structural designs with other systems.
• Identify, assess and mitigate design-related risks ensuring safety and viability of precast systems.
• Ensure designs comply with IS codes and local standards; promote standardization of elements.
• Facilitate coordination meetings to resolve clashes with mechanical, electrical and plumbing teams.
• Engage with clients and contractors to present design approaches and obtain approvals.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team with clear KPIs and continuous improvement.

Associate Manager - Engineering Responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis: Perform detailed structural analysis and design of precast components and building systems using engineering software such as Tekla, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and CONSYS. Ensure stability, strength, and code compliance of all structural systems.

Drawing Review & Verification: Verify technical drawings prepared by junior engineers, detailers, and draftsmen for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with design intent. Provide feedback and necessary revi sions.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, and various disciplines such as electrical and mechanical teams to integrate structural designs with other building systems. Coordinate with precast factory teams for production feasibility, and support vendors in understanding design requirements for embedded parts, joints, and reinforcement detailing.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate design-related risks, ensuring the structural safety and viability of complex precast systems. Develop contingency solutions when required.

Code Compliance & Standards: Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant IS codes, local building standards, and project-specific requirements. Promote standardization of repetitive design elements for improved efficiency.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Facilitate regular coordination meetings with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts in a proactive manner.

Client & Contractor Engagement: Engage with clients and contractors to present design approaches, address queries, and obtain approvals. Provide technical support during execution phases.

Team Development: Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.
