Job summary

Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd. seeks an Associate Manager for Packaged Gas Products Operations in Faridabad, Haryana. You will oversee safe operation, production of XL grade products, calibration, and process mixtures with strict KPI adherence.

You will monitor gas inventories, support import/export of cylinders, and provide technical support to sales while maintaining critical spares. Emphasis on safety culture and cost-effective production.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 4–8 years in specialty gases including filling, analysis, and handling of imported gases.

Responsibilities

• Run the Special gas plant operation safely and execute production of XL Grade Products, calibration and process mixtures with precision; meet KPI on operation and safety.
• Monitor inventories of imported gases and traded products with Product Management & Procurement and support import/re-export of cylinders.
• Provide technical support to sales team and customers; maintain critical spares for special gas operations.
• Lead safety initiatives (toolbox talks, safety awards) and ensure production per plan with cost effectiveness, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure safety and security of assets, facility, workforce, including contractors; observe Safety Principles and Life Saving Rules.
• Support SHEQ activities: lead safe/HWP audits, safety walks, risk assessments; maintain safety equipment.
• Plan material requirements for special gas plant spares; procure with HO; inspect major items and conduct vendor audits for critical items.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role you will be responsible for running the Special gas plant operation safely and Execution of production of XL Grade Products, Calibration and Process Mixtures with precision and also to meet all KPI related to operation and safety
• You will be monitoring the inventories of imported gases and traded products with the help of Product Management & Procurement team and support the import/re-export of cylinders
• You will be giving technical support to the sales team and customers and maintaining critical spares for special gas operations
• In this role you have to take initiatives to improve safety culture like Tool box talk/Safety person awards etc. Also you ensure the production is achieved as per agreed plan in cost effective manner with established safety and quality standards
• You will be responsible for safety and security of the Assets, Facility and Workforce including contractors and to ensure strict observance of Safety Principles, Life Saving Rules, MOC etc.
• In this role you will be supporting to SHEQ activity like conducting Lead safe / HWP audits / Safety walk / Conducting Risk Assessments to improve the safety culture and safe behaviour and safety Equipment maintenance ( Fire Hydrant & Extinguishers).
• Additionally you will be responsible for planning materials requirement for special gas plant spares and procuring with HO support and inspection of major items and carryout vendor Audit for supply of critical items such as DA, H2 etc.
• You will conduct safety meetings, rolling out SHEQ initiatives and prepare SHEQ reports and other related documentation also interact with internal customers/stake holder to achieve the overall annual plan/targets of organisation
• Further, you will have to maintain cordial relations with all staff, contractors and neighbours for smooth operation of factory and help the team members whenever they need help from cross functional assistance

• You have a graduate in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with minimum four to eught (4-8) years’ experience in Speciality Gases activities like filling, analysis, handling of imported gases
• You have Leadership skills and visibly support and execute decisions once they are made
• Further, you make decisions based on facts, knowledge and experience after considering viable alternatives
• Moreover, you have a cross cultural communication and collaboration and you can build and lead diverse teams to achieve high performance
• And you are able to manage project and Risk Management and execute projects in full, on time and within budget
• You own strategy Thinking and you can gain and maintain commitment to your team and individual goals that support the business strategy
• An addition, you have Special Gases filling and analysis skills with good knowledge of Factory Acts, Statutory regulations, Drug Rule, and also good knowledge of SAP PM and source modules
