Job summary

RESPONSIBILITIES include budgeting, MIS, financial statements, CAPEX evaluation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This full-time role offers opportunity to lead financial processes in a dynamic port environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial statements.
• Experience in budget creation, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Proven track record in MIS reporting and management reviews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual Opex, Capex budgets preparation, finalization, approval and periodic reviews.
• Monitor revenue & profit performance; identify gaps and suggest corrective actions to management.
• Support business for evaluation of CAPEX decisions and ensure statutory audits.
• Ensure monthly MIS preparation and coordination of reviews by business.
• Prepare financial statements and review them for accuracy.
• Analyze expenses/receivables and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance to internal audit observations and strengthen internal controls.
• Complete statutory audits as per schedule and act on audit observations.
• Ensure statutory compliances such as Service Tax, EPCG redemption.
• Motivate and coach the team; stay updated with finance developments.

Job description

• Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual revenue & profit performance, identify gaps & suggest corrective actions to management.
• Support to biz. for evaluation of CAPEX decision.
• Ensure monthly MIS preparation & co-ordinate review by biz.
• Ensure Preparation of Financial statements & review of the same.
• Analysis of expenses/receivable and suggest corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance to internal audit observations & strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure completion of statutory audits as per schedule and take actions on audit observations.
• Ensure statutory compliances i.e. Service Tax, EPCG redemption.
• Motivate the team through employee communication and coaching.
• Keep abreast with the latest developments in the field of Finance and embrace the modern technology in line with the requirements of the Department.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:-

• 5 + years of experience
• Experience in managing F & A in a large setup
• Should have experience in preparing balance sheet and handling statutory audits in the company
