Job summary

Adani Ports and SEZ is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years of experience in finance and accounting within a large setup. You will manage budgeting, MIS, audits, and statutory compliance while driving financial accuracy and process improvements.

The role involves coordinating Opex/Capex budgets, reviewing financial statements, and mentoring a finance team in Mundra. Knowledge of Service Tax and EPCG is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing F&A in a large setup.
• Preparation of balance sheets and handling statutory audits.
• Exposure to CAPEX / OPEX budgeting and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual Opex, Capex budgets preparation, finalization, approval and periodic reviews.
• Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual revenue & profit performance, identify gaps & suggest corrective actions to management.
• Support to business for evaluation of CAPEX decisions.
• Ensure monthly MIS preparation and coordinate review by business.
• Prepare financial statements and review thereof.
• Analyze expenses/receivables and suggest corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance to internal audit observations and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure completion of statutory audits and act on audit observations.
• Ensure statutory compliances such as Service Tax, EPCG redemption.
• Motivate the team through employee communication and coaching.
• Keep abreast with developments in Finance and adopt modern technology as per department requirements.
