Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in Automation Engineering.
  • Experience with drafting software test plans and system design documents.
  • Hands-on automation compliance project experience.
  • Familiarity with process controls equipment and regulatory standards.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
  • Develop and modify control modules, equipment modules, and batch logic.
  • Design DeltaV operator graphics, alarms, trends, and reports.
  • Support DCS upgrades, migrations, patch management, lifecycle activities.
  • Perform system backups, restoration, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and shutdown activities.
  • Optimize control strategies to improve process performance and quality.
  • Integrate DeltaV with PLCs, SCADA, Historians, and third-party systems.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and automation standards compliance.
  • Monitor instrumentation, update datasheets, loop drawings, and P&IDs.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for instrument reliability improvements.
