Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Associate to join our accounting team in All Locations. The role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling transactions, and supporting payroll and VAT/GST calculations.

The incumbent will work across IFRS and US GAAP, and collaborate with onshore teams and auditors. Ideal candidates hold CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA in Finance with 0–5 years of accounting experience, strong journal-entry skills, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with international GAAP exposure (IFRS/US GAAP).
• 0–5 years accounting experience required; IFRS/US GAAP preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and financial software.

Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry for P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flows, and notes.
• Analyze bank transactions and process on accounting platform/excel.
• Process invoices, expenses and other transactions.
• Reconcile inter-company AP/AR and trial balance finalization.
• Prepare periodic management accounts under IFRS/US GAAP.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification and Experience

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)
