Job summary

Jobtailor in Pune, India, seeks an Oracle EBS specialist to design and implement R12.x custom components, perform data migrations, and build robust interfaces.

You will work with PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and AIM MD070/TE020, ensuring performance, upgrades, and documentation across supply chain modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master level in SQL, PL/SQL, Packages, Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.
• Proficiency in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, JDeveloper, and SQL Developer.
• Extensive experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Workflow Builder.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Open Interfaces and APIs for data conversion.
• Deep understanding of Oracle SCM data models and table structures for Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), and Order Management (OM).
• Experience with the Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM), specifically creating documents like MD070 (Technical Design) and TE020 (Unit Test Script)

Responsibilities

• RICEFW Development: Design and build custom components using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports / BI Publisher.
• Data Migration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) legacy supply chain data into EBS using standard API's, Open Interfaces, and Data Loader.
• System Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces and APIs to facilitate data exchange between Oracle EBS and external third-party or legacy systems.
• Workflow & Forms Customization: Modify existing workflows and design new custom extensions and forms to align the system with unique operational processes.
• Technical Documentation: Author Technical Specification documents (e.g., MD070), detailing system architecture, table structures, and code logic for functional or development teams.
• Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot complex system performance issues, optimize slow-running SQL queries, and monitor concurrent programs to ensure seamless operations.
• Upgrades & Patching: Assist in system upgrades (e.g., R12.1 to R12.2) and apply necessary database patches while ensuring custom objects remain compatible.
