Job summary

Kotak Investment Banking in Mumbai seeks a capable associate to support deal origination and execution. You will prepare high-quality financial models and client presentations, and develop sector knowledge across Consumer and Real Estate sectors.

The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, excellent analytical and communication skills, and an ability to manage multiple engagements with attention to detail. Prior M&A exposure is preferred.

Candidates with experience covering sectors such as Consumer or Real Estate will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deal origination and execution by preparing high-quality financial models and client presentations.
• Build financial models and provide analytical support for mergers & acquisitions and other advisory transactions.
• Develop sector knowledge and maintain an understanding of key industry trends, market developments, and business dynamics.
• Prepare pitch books, information memoranda, investor presentations, term sheets, and other transaction-related materials.
• Conduct company, industry, market, and competitor research, including due diligence assignments.
• Ensure high-quality client deliverables through strong attention to detail and analytical rigor.
• Work across sectors and products to support deal origination and transaction execution initiatives.
