Job summary

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) seeks an experienced internal audit professional to execute risk-based audits across the NPCI Group. You will develop audit plans, perform tests, and report findings to management.

Role requires hands-on audit expertise, strong knowledge of governance, risk and controls, and the ability to identify improvement opportunities to enhance overall controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• CA with 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in risk-based internal audits.
• Knowledge of governance, risk and controls.
• Hands-on audits across NPCI Group processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based internal audits across NPCI Group.
• Develop audit plans, audit programs, and testing procedures.
• Perform walkthroughs, control testing, and substantive procedures.
• Identify control gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Present audit results with practical recommendations to senior management.

• Evaluate theeffectiveness of internal controls for NPCI Group

Reporting & Communication

• Prepare clear, conciseaudit reports with practical recommendations.
  
• Discuss findings withprocess owners and management.
  
• Track and follow up onagreed management actions.
  
• Present audit results tosenior management / audit committees (for senior roles).
  

Advisory & Value Addition

• Provide advisory supporton process improvements, system implementations, and new initiatives.
  
• Act as a trusted advisorwhile maintaining independence.
  
• Support continuousimprovement of internal audit methodology.
