Job summary

Genpact is seeking an Associate for Insurance - P&C Underwriting in Bengaluru. The role focuses on reviewing and processing insurance claims, ensuring accuracy, and adhering to underwriting rules and regulatory requirements.

You will interact with clients to collect missing information, flag discrepancies, and support the team in resolving routine issues while maintaining meticulous records and compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees or higher in actuarial science, economics, finance, risk management and insurance, or statistics.
• Professional certifications in claims, reinsurance, compliance, or risk management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate insurance claim information for accuracy and completeness.
• Process claims in accordance with guidelines, underwriting rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients to gather missing details for claim adjudication.
• Identify and flag errors or incomplete documentation for correction.
• Maintain accurate records of claims and related documentation.
• Support team in resolving basic claim issues; escalate complex cases as needed.
• Adhere to policies, compliance standards, and turnaround timelines.
