Job summary

Genpact India Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for an Associate in Insurance - P&C Underwriting.

The role centers on reviewing and validating claims, processing cases under underwriting rules, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You’ll gather information from clients, flag discrepancies, and maintain meticulous records. Ideal candidates hold actuarial or risk-management degrees with certifications in claims or underwriting and have experience in P&C insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, or Risk Management/Insurance.
• Master's in Statistics is preferred.
• Professional designations: AIC, ARe, CCO, CRCM, CRP are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate insurance claim information for accuracy and completeness.
• Process claims in accordance with underwriting rules and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients to gather missing details for claim adjudication.
• Identify and flag errors or incomplete documentation for correction or escalation.
• Maintain accurate records of claims and related documentation.
• Support team in resolving basic claim issues; escalate complex cases as needed.
• Adhere to policies, compliance standards, and turnaround timelines.
