Newton School in Pune is seeking an Associate Instructor– Software and Web Development to join our Computer Science Department. The role targets engineers with 2+ years of industry experience who are passionate about software development and mentoring the next generation of developers.

You will deliver engaging sessions, run coding labs, and guide students in building real-world applications, while collaborating with faculty to keep content aligned with industry standards and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer/Engineer in application programming.
• M.Tech/ PhD in Computer Science or related field mandatory.
• Strong understanding of OOPs, data structures, low-level design, algorithms and software design principles.
• Familiarity with application frameworks, APIs and deployment basics.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students and teach foundational CS subjects when needed.

Responsibilities

• Course Development & Delivery: Teach and deliver Full stack modules with emphasis on OOPs, DS, algorithms and software engineering concepts.
• Student Mentorship: Guide students on projects, debugging, coding best practices and design decisions.
• Collaboration: Work with senior faculty, industry partners and curriculum teams to keep content aligned with industry standards.
• Student Success: Provide feedback, evaluate assignments and help students become job-ready engineers.
• Innovation: Encourage students to apply modern frameworks and tools to solve real-world problems.
